"The reunion of our former members on August 21-23 was an extraordinary weekend. From the arrivals on Friday night to the departures on Sunday afternoon our sharing and prayer wove together gratitude and forgiveness, memory and hope, joy and promise. A wonderful display of pictures from the past invited questions, encouraged the sharing of additional memories, as well as helped us remember the many who were unable to join us. As one on the planning committee the weekend far surpassed my expectations. I will long treasure this time of being together once again. And as each one left I knew that our spirit, our charism is rooted deep within each one and touches lives far beyond our imaginings."

"As I think about it now, it was so easy for some to come back to a place called “home,” while others were full of fear, hesitation, and perhaps even pain. However, as the weekend progressed, a sense of belonging and comfort seemed to permeate the group. The sound of talking and laughter grew in strength. And then a sense of loss once again came over me personally as I said good-bye, the loss that some of these good women I may never see again. I thank all who came and shared, and touched my life once again."

"The week-end was especially restoring for me. Everytime I come to Holy Cross, I get this sense of deep peace inside myself and this week-end was no different. What made the event so special, however, was all of the beautiful prayer services...I was left in awe at the end of each one of them. For me, this was the highlight of the week-end."
