Sister Completes Two Year Formation Program

Sister John Marie Simien has completed ForMission, a two-year program for ministers of formation for religious life, offered by the RELIGIOUS FORMATION CONFERENCE in cooperation with Catholic Schools of Theology.

The primary aim of ForMission is to foster the personal transformation of directors, and assist them in developing the vision and skills necessary for their ministry. According to Sister Patricia Flynn SSND, ForMission Program Director, Sister John Marie's final ForMission Project entitled On the Way with rekindled fire as Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross captured the essence of what is needed in our world today and tomorrow--women and men religious on fire for the gospel, for in-breaking of the reign of God.

Sister John Marie was presented a certificate for successfully completing the two year program. She is the Formation Director for the Holy Cross Sisters USA Province headquartered in Merrill, WI.
