Associate Mary Bartol and her sister Harriet Martin delivering gifts to the nursing home in West Bend, WI. This is part of the efforts of the Human Concerns committee at the local parish with the Samaritan Health Center Gifts project. Gifts help make the season brighter for residents at the nursing home.

The Holy Cross Associates have prepared and delivered 260 greeting cards for students at Lincoln Hills/Copper Lake School near Irma, WI. This is the 6th year that the associates have participated in this program at the juvenile correctional facility honoring Sister Benedicta who for many years volunteered in the Foster Grandparent Program at the school. The cards will be distributed to students along with other gifts at Christmas.

"Respect Life Sunday"
Associate John Bartol from West Bend, WI, took part in "Respect Life Sunday" October 7th at the Memorial Garden and Monument to the unbord child at St. Mary's Parish, West Bend. They year he joined many West Bend area participants of all faiths in the West Bend Life Chain.
Associates Mary and John Bartol from West Bend, WI, took part in "Respect Life Sunday," October 7th. The National Life Chain is the largest peaceful, prayerful, pro-life public witness in the world. Mary said, "It was a moving experience to quietly and individually pray."
